About the Role

Superior Shade Sails is a Brisbane-based specialist in domestic shade sail installations. Due to continued growth, we are seeking two experienced construction installers to join our team for residential shade sail projects across South East Queensland.

This is a hands on construction role involving steel post installation, concrete works, roof fixings and fabric shade sail systems. You’ll work as part of a professional two-person team and interact with homeowners onsite.

Key Responsibilities

    • Install steel posts and fabric shade sail (tensile structure) systems
    • Dig holes (manual and mechanical)
    • Mix and pour concrete
    • Install roof brackets and fixing points
    • Assist with rigging, tensioning and final adjustments
    • Work safely at heights and follow all site safety procedures
    • Communicate professionally with customers
    • Use scheduling/job management software (or willingness to learn)

Skills & Experience

    •  Construction background essential
    • White Card (required)
    • Working at Heights (preferred)
    • Experience with shade sails, steel, rigging or tensile structures (advantageous but not essential)
    • Reliable, physically fit, and safety-focused
    • Strong communication skills
    • Valid Australian work rights

Superior Shade Sails is seeking reliable subcontract installation teams or individuals for domestic shade sail installations throughout South East Queensland. This role suits experienced construction contractors looking for consistent project work without the hassle of quoting, sales or invoicing clients.

Scope of Works

    • Steel post installation
    • Excavation (hand & machine)
    • Concrete footing installation
    • Roof bracket and fixing installation
    • Shade sail fabric installation, rigging and tensioning
    • Residential customer interaction

Requirement

    • ABN required
    • Construction experience essential
    • White Card
    • Working at Heights (preferred)
    • Own basic tools (specialised equipment supplied if required)
    • Reliable transport
    • Professional presentation and communication
    • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
